VoLTE
VOICE OVER LTE


To be able to make a VoLTE call:


  • operators must support the service.
  • Avior must have a firmware version AviorLTE 04.02 or later.
  • AviorEco must have a firmware version AviorEcoLTE 04.02 or later.


VoLTE is based on the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architectural structure, with specific profiles for voice service control and media planes that must be properly set up.



These settings are factory defaults, but must be made manually when the firmware is updated later.

Send these commands using the Avior.Suite terminal, webadmin or SMS:


Set the context for multimedia services

The response is only to commands given by the console.


Restart your device and wait for it to complete network registration.

To find out when the registration has been completed you could use the command AT#RM=N14 which will return the IMEI only after registration.


To check the active contexts use the command

AT+CGCONTRDP


you should receive 2 indications relating to the data connection and the multimedia connection in a form similar to the following:

+CGCONTRDP: 1,5,<operator.apn>,10.40.167.126,,10.128.28.16,10.128.28.17

+CGCONTRDP: 2,6,ims,10.55.50.52,,,,10.178.76.194,10.178.77.98



To activate IMS services

some operators also require the correct setting of the APN
