Digital Inputs

Mobi.Control has 8 digital inputs accessible at terminals 05 to 12.

Orange LED on the front of the unit report their status.

A 3,3Vdc power supply for these inputs is available at terminal 04.

If electronic switches are used, please connect positive terminal of the switches to terminal 04.

If switches are supplied by an external power supply, negative terminal must be connected to terminal 01. A zener diode can provide an easy solution to keep input voltage in the 9Vdc range.

The following figure shows some possible wiring diagram.

- Inputs 1 and 2 uses the internal 3,3 Vdc power supply.

- Inputs 3 and 4 uses an external 5 Vdc power supply (no zener diode is required).

- Inputs 5 and 6 uses an external 12 Vdc and a 6,8V zener diode reduces the input voltage.

- Inputs 7 and 8 uses an external 24 Vdc and a 20V zener diode reduces the input voltage.

External power supply for inputs must meet SELV circuits requirements

according to EN60950/IEC950: maximum allowed voltage is 60Vdc
