Directives
A message sent to Twitter by means of AT#TWEET="text",0 or TWEET="text",0 commands may issue some directives. Omitting the trailing ZERO the message will be posted like a normal tweet.
Following commands can be included at the beginning of text message.
ON |
Turns ALL your authorized Twitter updates and notifications ON. Mobi.Control will receive Commands issued within: • Normal Tweet • Direct Message • @mention • @reply |
OFF |
Turns ALL phone notifications off, you still receive Direct Messages. Mobi.Control will receive Commands issued within: • Direct Message |
ON username |
Turns on notifications for a specific person. To forward commands from alissa: ON alissa |
OFF username |
Turns off notifications for a specific person. To block commands from alissa: OFF alissa |
FOLLOW username |
Allows Mobi.Control to start following a specific user. To follow jerry: FOLLOW jerry |
UNFOLLOW username |
Allows Mobi.Control to stop following a specific user. To stop follow jerry: UNFOLLOW jerry |
RT username |
Sends that user's latest Tweet to your followers. Retweet to all Mobi.Control followers the latest tweet from charles: RT charles |
SET LOCATION |
Updates the location field in device profile. Tell everybody your Mobi.Control has been installed in London: set location London |
SET BIO |
Edits information in device profile. Tell everybody your Mobi.Control is working on a tube station: set bio Epping Tube monitoring |
SET URL |
Sets the URL field on device profile. Tell everybody your Mobi.Control webpage (if any): set url http://www.contrive.mobi |
GET |
Retrieves the latest Twitter update posted by that person. You may parse the latest message from goldman get goldman |
