Software versioning is the process of assigning either unique version names or unique version numbers to unique states of software.

Numbers are assigned in increasing order and correspond to new developments in the software.


Mobi.Switch uses 2 numbering scheme:

Mobi.Switch version is automatically retrieved by Mobi.Suite when a device is linked.

Working off-line the correct version of Mobi.Switch firmware must be chosen.

Changed when new features are released

or significant improvements are introduced




BUG VERSION

Increased when there is a bug fix

Restart from 0 for all new major version







Mobi.Switch Help (this file) uses 3 numbering scheme:

First 2 numbers are the same of Mobi.Switch.

Last number used to identify upgraded documents referring to same Mobi.Switch version
