Some services depend on a specific Socket Message Management (SMM) server:

  • Sending and receiving e-mails
  • Send and receive CHAT messages
  • Sending and receiving APP commands
  • Connect to WAN devices
  • Cloud platform at
  • Control, supervision, configuration through API
  • Webhooks

More information on cloud services can be found HERE.

For sending or receiving information, the MQTT protocol and HTTP commands are also available, which can be used simultaneously or as an alternative to SMM. By deactivating SMM you will no longer have any dependence on cloud services provided by Contrive but the functionality listed above will be lost
